Why WOW? I just love all of Cassandra's books. Some people don't care for her descriptive writing style, but I love it. I'm in love with her mortal instruments series, and its nice to get a history of where the shadowhunters come from. Plus, I want to learn more about Will's tortured past, since Clockwork Angel left everything in a cloud of mystery. The cover is amazing, yet again. I can't believe I have to wait til December to dive back into the series. Team WILL all the way :)

My Musings: I picked up this book during the final closing days at Borders. It was one of the few young adult books left over and I never heard of it. Looking at the back, the synopsis captured my attention with an original story of immortals, who go to a place equivalent to a rehab center for wayward immortals. If that is not enough originality to capture your attention then I don't know what is. I am really glad that I picked it up. The book is amazing.

Why WOW? Upper class Victorian girl + poor miner zombie boy = romantic pairing ?? Well, duh, of course I have to read this. If this doesn't scream original, I don't know what is. This is one of those stories where you need to find out how it turns out: good or bad. Plus, this book has such a gorgeous cover!!! I can't resist.

My Musings: Let me just say it has been awhile since I have fully connected with a book inside and out. This book has all the elements of greatness: danger, romance, comedy, and action. There is never a dull moment in any portion of the story. I finished the book in one day because I could not put it down for the life of me.

I know alot of people have been comparing this series to The Hunger Games, but I think the main reason is that there are many different dystopians that are trying to compete with it and have failed. Well, let me tell you this that I believe Divergent is rival for that series. It carries very dark themes that make you sit back and have real hard look on our society.

Beatrice is such a likeable character. She is very unsure about herself in the beginning, but her growth throughout the book keeps you wanting to learn more about her.

Peter, who is the main antagonist, is such a little prick. There were moments where I just wanted to jump right into the book and strangle him. Veronica did a fantastic job making such a crazy villian like him.

The romance is just purely perfect. I don't want to give it away about who she falls for, but the development of the relationship is beautiful. This may sound cheesy, but it slowly blossoms into something beautiful, amazing, and can stand the testament of time.

Overall, I think this book is wonderful. It is always awesome to see an author not araid to touch upon dark themes like rape, war and gore. I only wish I didn't have to wait a whole year to read the next installment. I need to know what happens next!!!!!!

Why Wow? Angels!!!! Do I need to say more?? I heard alot of great things about this book, so I am super excited for this one to come out. I hope it lives up to the hype and doesn't dissappoint like some other angels books out in the market. BTW....the cover is gorgeous.

My Musings: Wow!!! This book had moments that I was not expecting. The ending completely blew my mind away. Thank God for two more books in the series. There are somethings that need to be addressed and settled.

My Musings: Another masterpiece by Julie Kagawa. I just gush in ecstasy over her amazing writing. It is very fluid and easy to get into. I hope to one day meet her. To me laughter is a key to a good book in my opinion, and she delivers that to me with each book that I read.

Lets first start out that I love Meghan Chase. She is definitely a herione to look up to. Being a victim is not in the cards for her and I love the passion she haves for the ones that she loves. It was fun to see her in this book in new environments, such as, the Winter Court (a.k.a. Unseelie Court) which is vastly different than the Summer Court (a.k.a. Seelie Court). We can an upclose and personal view of Mab the Unseelie Queen and her horrible personality (which is quite fun).

Fans of the Meghan-Ash-Puck love triangle will not be disappointed in this book. There are alot of sweet and heart breaking moments for the two leading men. It is only at the end will there be some kind of conclusion (*wink *wink).

The Iron Fey continue to play a pivotle role in the growing war between the courts, but some are not as bad as you think. Alliances will change with many surprises.

I can't wait to read the next one, which is patiently sitting in my bookshelf ready to be dived into. Until, next time...Happy Reading!!!!

My Musings: I have to admit that I really enjoyed this book. Ever since The Hunger Games has been released, there seems to be an influx of dystopian romances being released. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the book (cuz nothing beats The Hunger Games), but I was willing to try this out. I was not disappointed.

Who would have ever thought that LOVE can be a disease you can cure with a procedure?? Apparently, in this book it can. The characters are really easy going and easy to love. Alex, the love interest, is very adorable, and the best friend Hanna kind of reminds me of my outgoing personality. It was easy for me to feel sorry for Lena, who has struggled so much in this crazy judgemental society. She is almost an outcast in a way to the rest of the town. It is through her relationships with Alex and Hanna that truly keep you going.

The only reason I gave this book a 4/5 stars was because of Lena. There were several moments in the story where I just wanted to strangle her. She kept saying she was too scared to do a particular thing, and the next scene she goes ahead and does it. Just make up your mind. Its ok to be scared but gets some courage and do something about it.

Overall, I am really happy with the story. The writing styles is smooth, and the ending left you wanting more. I love cliffhangers!!!

Cover Art: This an amazing cover. First of all, it is in my favorite color: TEAL!!! If you have the hardcover addition, when you remove the flap, you can see the full view of the girl's face on the otherside. The picture is gorgeous.
